Before you install
Is the app free?
Yes, fully free. No subscriptions, no paid features, no popup ads.
Do I need an account to use the app?
No. Reading and local preferences work without sign-up. An account only adds cross-device sync and a public profile.
How do reading statuses work?
Each series in your library carries one of four states: Reading, Completed, On hold, Saved. You can change it any time, drop the series, or move it back later.
Can I export my library?
Yes, from your profile settings. The export is structured JSON — every series, its status, and the last chapter you reached.
What about other languages?
Arabic and English are live. Korean, Japanese, and Chinese are in the pipeline. Each locale ships with proper UI, fonts, and reading preferences (RTL/LTR, sizing, etc.).
Does it support dark mode and themes?
Yes. The default is "Cinematic Panel", plus six optional themes (Paper, Tokyo, Sakura, Matcha, Sumi Ink, and more).
What's the minimum OS version?
Android 8 or newer. iOS 13 or newer (initial target).
How do I report an issue or suggest a feature?
From the in-app Settings screen, or through the MangaTime contact page. We read every message.
